Remembering Pastor’s 2015 Trip to Israel
Back in November of 2015 my wife and I were able to take an excellent fourteen-day visit to the Holy Land, Israel. We flew from Philadelphia to Tel Aviv, a trip of fourteen and a half hours by plane.
When we arrived in Tel Aviv, our friends Carl and Sigalit had come to pick us up and brought us to their home where we stayed for five days, and we visited many places with them.
Afterwards they brought us to Jerusalem where we stayed in a hotel with other travelers from the US and around the world. We ate delicious food and visited many places, like the Temple in Jerusalem and more.
We also visited Nazareth for two days and traveled to the desert of Jericho and the river Jordan, where Jesus as well as three of the people in our group received their baptisms. Then we went to the Sea of Tiberias where our boat captain anchored the boat in the middle of the sea, to do the service of the Lord’s Supper. It was wonderful. My wife and I sang our praises to the Almighty Lord in creole while other travelers joined in with their languages.
We were also able to visit the Red Sea, where we bathed in the water with the others, and we visited Golgotha as well as the place where Joseph and Mary rested with Jesus.
This trip left us with many unforgettable memories as well as many more experiences to augment my message.
I am thankful to Loving Haiti’s president, board members, and supporters who were able to make this trip possible for us.
May God bless and grow Loving Haiti’s mission.
I thank you a thousand times.
Sincerely,
Sincerely,
Brother Francois Romelus
